What Tilltide is
Tilltide is software for taking payments at a till. It shows PayPal and Solana Pay QR codes, runs a loyalty scheme, and helps with reconciliation and reports.
Tilltide never holds your money. PayPal payments go to your PayPal account. Wallet payments go to your own till wallet. Moving money out of the till always needs your wallet's signature.
Fees
Tilltide charges 0.5%, taken by PayPal from each PayPal sale (platform fee), and in the same transaction when you move wallet takings to your owner wallet. Network fees on Solana are paid by whoever sends the transaction. PayPal's own fees are set by PayPal.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your wallet and its recovery phrase safe. We can't recover a lost wallet or reverse a signed transaction.
- Check transfers and refunds before you sign or approve them. The AI assistant can suggest them, but it can make mistakes.
- Keep your own accounting records and pay any taxes that apply.
- Use Tilltide lawfully, including the rules on promoting cryptoassets to UK customers.
Our responsibilities
We'll run Tilltide with reasonable care and fix problems promptly. Tilltide depends on PayPal, the Solana network and our hosting providers, and we're not responsible for their outages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using Tilltide at any time; export your CSV first. We may suspend a shop for fraud or misuse.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
